I suggest you to choose Phuket because Phuket Island has 17 sandy beaches. And Patong Beach is the most popular Thailand beaches and has top 10 diving sites, variety of beaches, attractions and exciting night life. There are many beach front accommodations are available, so choose one among them and enjoy your day!

Without knowing your full criteria for a "beach holiday", it is hard to choose because they are so different.

I spent 3 nights in Phuket at the Holiday Inn in June and loved both the accomodations, the beach across the road, the food, the people, the island itself...

i have to say having lived in thailand for 2 years that the 3 best places to go would be ao nang (just off Krabi), koh tao (island north of sumui) or Kho phi phi don. those are my recomendations i hope you take them on board and have fun whatever you do!!!

I'd like to suggest Samui. There are many beautiful beaches and a lot of activities for you to do.
You could fly from Bangkok to Samui easily. Accommodations are various depend on your style. Moreover, you could even take a one-day trip to the nearby island, Angtong Archipelago, for kayaking, snorkeling, and observing view of horizon from the top of mountain :)

Thailand has one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. I think for those that have traveled there will know the beauty of this place makes for some of

the best vacations in the world.

Khao Lak, Phuket and Phi Phi Don are one of the major beach in Thailand. The views are breathtaking and the water is warm and inviting.
