Beware of Wired-Destinations

In November 2008 I made a reservation through WIRED-DESTINATIONS for a 3-night stay in Bangkok. However, due to the closure of the airport in Bangkok, the flight from Manila on the 2nd of December 2008 was cancelled.

Shortly afterwards I received an e-mail from WIRED-DESTINATIONS stating that I would receive a full refund of US$139.00 minus administrative charges. I was told that I would receive this refund between 15-45 days of their e-mail.

In mid-February 2009 I contacted the company asking why I had not received the refund yet. I was told their accounts department would be advised of this and that I should check my bank statement. I have since sent e-mails to WIRED-DESTINATIONS, the latest on 16th of March 2009. To this date I am still awaiting their reply.

I feel other people should be made aware of the RISK they take when booking with WIRED-DESTINATIONS.
