hiya, I have a question regarding Thailand visa. When applying for a visa in Thailand, how many days do you get? Also, is it easy to extend visa while there? thanks

hi there, You can remain in Thailand for 30 days before having to reapply for an extension. However, rather than reapplying, I would suggest crossing the border into Laos or Cambodia and then enter Thailand again. This is much more successful tactic than trying to extend your visa, and the borders of Laos and Cambodia aren't far.

30 Days are free, then you have the option of a single entry visa for three months or you get a one year visa (Every three months you need to do a visa run!) Reentering again on a tourist Visa from Ranong will give you 15 (!) more days now. Its a new law because too many tourists seem to have "abused" the regulations before. Best regards
