|  Wat Doi Suthep temple hi, where is the Wat Doi Suthep temple actually located and what are the primary attractions there? any ideas? thanks |

|  Re: Wat Doi Suthep temple hi there, The temple is located around 10 miles from Chiang Mai city center and the temple is widely considered the city’s standout attraction. To get to the Chiang Mai temple, you can catch a songthaew (shared taxi) from Pratu Chang Phuak to the base of the mountain. From here, you can either climb the stairs to the temple or catch a funicular car. Apart from the temple itself, one of the principle attractions at the Doi Suthep temple is a shrine to a white elephant. |
