| hi, A couple of friends and me would like to make a trip to Thailand sometime but we'd like to do it on the cheap..any ideas on this? Also, is it possible to get a Thailand visa for longer than 30 days? |

| hi there, One great way to make a trip to Thailand affordable is backpacking and you can find budget accommodation all across, from Bangkok to the islands to Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, you are limited to 30 days but for a longer visa, you can simply cross the border into a neighboring country and return for an additional 30 days. This is a better way to stay in the country longer as re-applying for an extended visa can be a hassle and costly. Also, I would say to avoid traveling during the rainy season, especially if you’re interested in scuba or snorkeling. |
