|  Mayan temples of Tikal Hi there, We're planning a trip to central america, and we're going to the Mayan temples. Do u think it's best to get a travel tour to make the most out of Tikal? what do u guys recommend? |

| Re: Mayan temples of Tikal Hi there, An organized tour around Tikal is the best way to go about it, specially if you intend to visit the Tikal pyramids and the great Tikal Mayan temples. If you booking a tour, consider to book a sunrise tour, that way you can get a chance to enjoy the ruins at Tikal before other tourists arrive. If you decide to tour Tikal on your own, your best bet it's to rent a car. Prices for Tikal excursions vary widely, but generally Tikal excursions are quite affordable and should not cost too much.
