Taking soda pop onboard a plane

Does anyone know if it's ok to transport cans of pop in your checked bag. Will they explode?

hi there,

I believe that the checked luggage compartment is pressurized, so the soda pop should not explode.

No. It is fine. I think i have tried it once and had no problems with it actually.
