| What is the best way to pay for side excursions and trips on vacation? ALso, is it best to use a credit card or cash to pay for things? |

| I've traveled quite a bit over the years and one thing I've learned is that the credit card is the best out of all three. I carry around $60 cash also so, when I arrive I have enough money for the taxi or bus fare to my hotel. Avoid exchanging too much it is a money loser! After that, just debit the local currency from ATM's to get local cash right away and use this method to pay for things in cash as much as possible. |
