| Hey guys, My best vacation ever was a family vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was my extended family, and we rented 4 large houses for a week. It was a blast! and even today my kids still talk about that vacation with all their cousins. What is your best vacation ever and can you describe it? |

| Mine has to be a vacation with my wife that we took on our 10th anniversary. We went on a Caribbean Cruise which was our first cruise ever, and loved it. It was also our first time in the Caribbean and the stop overs on Bermuda, Dominica, etc were amazing and provided many nice memories. |

| Those all sound quite wonderful! It's nice to get the family together and spend some time on the beach. And a cruise...well, I really want to do that. I have a travel crush on Dominica, so I really want to go there! My best trip was to Palm Springs. I got a crazy good travel deal for an off season trip, which is July in the California desert. It was an awesome flight because I flew on a huge jet that had plenty of room. And then I had a really wonderful stay. However, Palm Springs in the off season is hot, hot, hot! I loved the desert heat...it was 110 and felt great. I normally start whining when it's 75 and humid at home. I loved the resort I stayed it. It had a great pool! I loved the shopping in Palm Springs too. |

| Wow! I've had so many incredible vacations; it's difficult to say which one is the absolute best, but I'll pick one of my favorites (maybe two:), and tell you all about it. Now, let me see, well, one of my first trips outside of the United States was on a cruise to the Bahamas. I still have some of the coins in my scrap book. At the time, I was living in Philly, and we took a bus from downtown to New York City. That was my first time to New York, too, and I was so excited to be there. We walked with our suitcases from the bus stop to the pier, and then, when I saw the ship, I was a little awe struck. It was so big! I knew they were big, but this was even bigger than it looked in the pictures. Anyway, a lot of people might think I'm just silly, but I was totally psyched and excited. Finally, the ship, we spent seven days on this thing and never got bored, not once. There was so much to do. It was not only a floating resort with the pools and hot tubs and dining. It had everything. We went to the movies one evening and dined with friends another. Another evening, we saw a comedy dance in the live theater, and then the next evening we went to a concert. During the day, there were pool parties, a casino, tennis, golf, jogging, and of course, there was the ever present shuffle board if nothing else, which, actually, is a very competitive game and kind of fun. The private island was gorgeous, and the activities abundant...snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, volleyball, great food, and the excellent entertainment in the evening, and, and, and an incredible view! I wouldn't recommend this, really, but I'm just silly like that...when I was snorkeling, I touched a jellyfish on the top, because I heard they don't stink you from there, and nope, they don't sting you:) Honestly, this is in my list of top, tippy, top vacations, and there are definitely some others that are way, way up there with it, and I could give you some more great descriptions, but for your sake, I'll stop here;) Enjoy the journey, friends!!

| my best vacation ever to date was a European tour I took in early May of this year with a group of friends. We toured in total 10 European cities in 30 days. We started out in London, then on to Paris, then to Lucerne, Switzerland, then to Milan, then to Rome and the Vatican, then to Florence, then to Innsbruck, and then to Heidelberg. By the way, we did it all by coach besides catching the Eurostar between London and Paris. I think the bus it's the best way to explore Europe anyways since the bus transportation is great! |

| I've never been abroad before and last month I had the chance to go to Italy for two weeks and now that I am back I can't wait to go abroad again! Italy was incredibly beautiful with lovely towns and amazing tourist attractions around every corner...better than I anticipated. I'd recommend anyone to visit Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi coast. |

| my best vacation ever would have been when we went to Jordan and Egypt 3 years ago. It was a trip of contrasts and extremely interesting. I fell in love with both places, but I wouldn't say they are for the intrepid. Still I say that if you've never gone anywhere particularly exotic, you've never really traveled! |

| Moderator Jr Member | Toronto is pretty great. I was just thinking last night that I need to plan another trip there. I didn't see any of the shows when I was there, and I would really l like to do that. And I'd love to see Casa Loma again. This castle is especially delightful in the spring.
