|  Flying on Christmas Day has anyone flown on Christmas Day before and what is it like? I am flying on Christmas day Philadelphia, and I'm wondering if it will be busier on the holiday, and what I should expect. I usually get to the airport an hour before I have to leave, and end up sitting around for 40 minutes. Will arriving an hour early still be okay? |

| Re: Flying on Christmas Day I have flown on Christmas Day before and I wished every-time I went on vacation was like that. It was great! We got a good deal Christmas flight deal, and the airport was hardly busy and even on board the plane, there weren't that many passengers. As a first time experience, you'll love flying on Christmas Day, no hassle at the airport and your plane will probably take off early! By the way, even though is Christmas, they'll be the normal security checks so do arrive at the airport a couple of hours prior your flight, as you would do normally. |
