| If you're in the know about airline policies, can you tell me how many empty seats does the airline needs before they can cancel the flight? I mean, can they even cancel a flight with only one passenger on-board? |

| Airlines are not required by law to compensate you for delayed or cancelled flights, though each airline carrier has a different stand on this, so check their airline regulations. Most airlines will book you on the next available flight if your flight is canceled. If your plane is delayed, the airline may pay for meals or a phone call, so it's worth asking. As a general rule, most airlines will only compensation you if you are flight seat was double-booked!.
