I agree with London Bridge being one of the most beautiful..did you know London Bridge has being around for about 1000 years? it's gotta be one of the oldest in the world for sure! Two other historic famous bridges that have to make the top rank are the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, and the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal in Venice.

i love Ponte Vecchio (Italy)..it's the oldest and famous bridge in the world and it is one of the famous tourist attractions in Italy. By the way, it was actually built from wood until it was destroyed by floods in 1333, and twelve years later the bridge was rebuilt using stone.

I like Ponte Vecchio and Ganter bridge in Switzerland. It is believed that the concept of bankruptcy has originated on Ponte Vecchio, when a merchant could not pay his debts, so soldiers considered best to physically break the table he used to display his goods.

what about the Jiaozhou Bay bridge? I hear it's the longest bridge in the world at 27 miles long,..wow! Also, the bridge was built in only 4 years so that's gotta be some kind of record in itself. China really deserves some praises for this kind of engineering undertaking. The UK should hire these people to build a bridge between Scotland and the Isle of Man, that's only 16 miles!
