| Hi there, Spring season is probably one of the best times to travel to Turkey as the weather is not too hot. However, if you're traveling on a budget and you wish to save some money, summer time in Turkey is the best time in terms of hotel rates. The only thing about summer though is that the weather does get very hot and humid. Accommodation in Turkey range from luxury palace hotels through charming, historic inns to simple but clean and cheap pensions and hostels. Most Turkish hotels offer rooms with private bathrooms, and include breakfast in the rates. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy

| Istanbul has a temperate climate. But Istanbul is located within a climatic transition zone between oceanic and dry subtropical climates. In summer the weather in Istanbul is hot and humid, the temperature between June and September averaging 28 °C (82 °F). During winter it is cold, wet and often snowy, averaging 5 °C (41 °F). The humidity of the city is constantly high which makes the air feel much harsher than the actual temperatures. The city being located in the second most humid region of the country, has an average annual humidity of 79%. Average annual precipitation is 693 mm (27 in). Summer is the driest season, although there is no real summer drought as rain does occur all year round, and so the climate is not mediterranean. Snowfall is quite common between the months of December and March, snowing for a week or two, but it can be heavy once it snows. The city is also quite windy, having an average wind speed of 17 km/h (11 mph). |

| Season and Climate in Turkey Turkey is a year-round destination depending on your itinerary. Spring (April to June) and Autumn (September to November) are the best times to visit the Aegean and the Mediterranean coasts, as the climate is ideal then. The weather is fine and usually not too rainy, and it is not too crowded. |
