baggage lockers near Tower of London?

hey guys,

I'll be visiting London for 5 days only and I am planning on sightseeing the same day I am due to leave. My flight leaves at 6pm in the afternoon from Gatwick but I have to leave the hotel by 12pm. I thought to leave the Tower of London for the last day, is this feasible? Are there baggage lockers nearby? thanks!

You won't find any baggage lockers in London nowadays because of security risks. However, there are left luggage areas where you pay an attendant and they hold your luggage.

Since you're flight is due at 6pm, you should be able to manage the Tower of London on the same day by going to Victoria Station early in the morning and leaving your bags at the left luggage area. From Victoria Station, you can jump then on the Gatwick Express, which takes around an 1 hour to get to the airport.

However, do allow two hours prior your flight for security checks and any other eventuality..the last thing you want is missing your flight back home.
