| UK The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland. |

| We are planning a trip from Manchester to RAF Mildenhall. The train cost from Manchester to Ely is GBP 101.80 plus a GBP 25 taxi fare to Mildenhall. By contrast, the bus from Manchester to Cambridge is merely GBP 33. The problem lies in getting from Cambridge to Mildenhall. I cant figure out the bus schedules for this and it appears we would have to make a few changes anyway. Not desirable since we will be dragging our luggage with us. An acceptable alternative would be to hire a car in Cambridge and drop it off in Mildenhall or Barton Mills. Have not had any luck finding a car hire agency with drop-offs there. I welcome anyones wisdom in this. Thanks Jeff |
