|  festivals in the UK we're planning to visit the UK this summer and plan to our the country from London to Scotland. I hear that during the summer, hundreds of festivals take place around the UK..any ideas which ones are cool? |

It happens every year between August and September (this year it is from Aug 12 to Sep 4) and it's about three weeks long. Honestly, if you love performing arts and world culture as a whole, the Edinburgh International Festival brings the best of the best from every corner of the country. |

| Re: festivals in the UK What an event the Edinburgh Festival is! As Ruby said it's held every year in July or August and features thousands of artists in different spheres of art, that show to the public their talent for some small change on the streets of Edinburgh. |
