The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland.
Alton Towers is nowhere near London, and is located in Staffordshire in the centre of the UK. There are a couple of other theme parks nearer to London if you've mistakenly written the wrong name...
