| Hello; We will be visiting the UK in December and plan to rent a car to get around. As we will be exploring, we would dearly love to take the Chunnel and enter France and drive to Normandy. Is it allowed by the rental car companies in the UK to drive to another country? If not, what are the options? |

| Yep it is allowed, but you will pay extra for insurance and also probably a larger deposit. Another factor to think about is that you'll have hired a right hand drive car... It's easier to drive in France with a left hand drive car... |
