| hi ive seen the post similar to this but there arent any answers that really do for me so i thought i'd try again! i want to travel the world without flying and i want to go west. basically it. i can get a boat from uk to iceland but then there doesnt seem to be anything from iceland to greenland or america - does anyone know of how i could do this [are freight ships a possibility?] ive seen the thing about the guys sailing around the world which looks really amazing but thats abit un realistic for me, also i dont want to be tied down with a boat to lug around! any help would be amazing cheers andy |

| There are boats from Reyjkavik to Greenland, but I believe you need to be booked before you arrive in Iceland. We've haven't enquired into a one-way ticket, but it's bound to be pricey. |
