| UK The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland. |

| Hello. In the near future I'm hoping to study abroad some place in Europe. I'd be doing it for a semester and here's some of my choices: Scotland Glasgow University Dundee University England University of Hertfordshire Middlesex University Reading University Ireland College Cork Other countries outside of Europe include Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, and Lithuania. I'd be coming from the University of Oklahoma, and part of me is wanting to be immersed in a city environment (since Oklahoma is known for its plains......) but definitely some beautiful scenery as well. If this makes it any easier for you fellas here's a little list of my interest Traveling/Vagabonding (definitely love to travel to some other countries on the weekends Music (huge into the alternative scene (Belle and Sebastian is one of my favorites and they're from Scotland I've heard) Movies Good food Meeting new, friendly people Tennis Comedy (any and everything) Also, if I were to spend roughly 4 months in the country, how much spending money would you recommend? (for food/ traveling/idle expenses) Thank you! |
