UK

The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland.

Smile Any ideas? Emigration to Canada and drive/boat (no planes)

Hi guys.

Me and my girlfriend are looking to emigrate, most likely to canada.
I don't like flying much and I am looking to drive/boat there.
I also want to take my car with all our stuff we have left in it. (We intend to sell the rest)
However, planning a route to get there is starting to prove difficult.

Does anyone have any ideas where to look?
We arent sure on costs and dates etc.
And we are still in the research stages.

Thanks for the help in advance.

RobbieG :)

Hi Robbie,

Where would you actually be traveling from? I would imagine the best way to do this would be to take the boat over the America and then drive into Canada. Obviously you aren't yet aware of which dates you would be making the journey but if you have a rough idea of when you might want to do it i would be happy to look into this for you. Also, have you thought about where in Canada you would like to settle? If you'd like to give me some suggestions i could give you more information on certain areas etc.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Talking Re: Any ideas? Emigration to Canada and drive/boat (no planes)

Hi there.

Thanks for the response.
We currently live in the UK, near Manchester, and we thinking of moving in the summer next year, depending on visa's etc.

We thinking of moving to the Toronto area, but are still open to suggestions on where the best area to move/live in would be best.

As of getting there, I am still looking for the best way to get there via car/boat/plane, bearing in mind that I will be taking my car with me.

I look forward to hearing from you, or anyone in the forums and thank you all for the help.

Cheers, RobbieG
