UK

The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland.

Default Channel Islands England or France

I want to visit but don't know how to travel there, either from Paris or London. Any suggestions. Would like to go by public transportation or would it be better to rent a car? We can exchange a time share there so accommodations would be fine.
Thanks

I believe the best way is out of the UK. When we visited it was leaving the port city of Dover. A great little city.. Be sure to visit the Dover fortress overlooking the city its really worth the time.

I agree that it is easier from the UK. My Dad traveled there this summer and took the ferry from Weymouth. The ferry crossing is 3-4 hours and costs around 90 GBP. There are also daily flights from Gatwick and Heathrow and from other regional airports. Flights are much faster but a bit more expensive (around 140-150 GBP), but I really enjoy the ferry ride. Its part of the whole holiday experience! You can also fly from Paris but it costs around 200GBP.
