UK

The UK is home to England, Scotland, and Wales. Getting around the UK is not a problem with the London Tube, cabs, and even cruises around the UK. England is home to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Stone Henge. Wales holds its own cultural traditions but is great for sightseeing. Glasgow is the largest city and is a major cultural center in Scotland.

Many museums were financed through subscription (i.e. interested people donated specimens and money) and endowments (money left in wills etc.) Many are also supported by the Lottery Fund and the local council and donations from visitors who have enjoyed their visit are very welcome.

You'll also find that some smaller or specialist museums do now charge a small entry fee.

If I can help with any other answers, please let me know.

Have a good trip,
m

I am coming to England in a month. I will stay for one and half year there to complete my studies. I like to know the expenses for a week and also the good places to watch in England.

Hi Redgeek,
food has become more expensive over the last couple of months, but that does not mean it's outrageous. Some supermarkets (Aldi, Somerfield, Lidl) are generally a bit cheaper. And shopping in farmer's markets is very good value for money.
But even the big brand supermarkets have their budget ranges and multi-buy offers, so if you look round carefully, you can keep your bills down.
Eating (and drinking) out is more expensive, but even here you can make sensible choices. I always find the local Indian restaurants very good value...

shout if you need some more specific info
