Question Tips for living in London?

Hi guys,
my name is Stephanie and I'm from Germany but right now I'm living in London for 3 months to do an internship and improve my English. Well of course I'm also here to see new things, to get to know the British culture and to make memorable experiences. Maybe some of you, who are from England or the UK could help me while giving me tips what I shouldn't miss? Because I'm a student I can't spend a lot of money and that's why I would prefer some cheap insider tips =)

So I would be glad about getting some answers from you!

hi Stephanie,

Welcome to the forum! London is really a lovely city and there's plenty to see. Here it's a few a things you can see which won't cost you anything:

-Watch the Changing the Guard ceremony outside Buckingham Palace. This is where 1 member of Queen's Guards exchanges duty with the previous guard.

- Visit the Sir John Soane's Museum and see some remarkable antiquities from all four corners of the globe.

- The Kenwood House is home to the most magnificently decorated libraries in the world, as well as the Iveagh Bequest – a collection of exquisite paintings by Rembrant, Vermeer, Turner, Reynolds and Gainsborough.

-RAF Museum where you can see more than 80 aircraft on display, together with uniforms, weapons, photographs and more.

Hey there well the best thing to do is get out there and explore - the museums are a great bet because they really show off the best of English Culture - like especially the New exhibition at the London Design Museum - Its celebrating the best of city by getting renowned artists to showcase their work around the dynamics of London's design story. Would really recommend that and there is this ticket giveaway at supercontemporary that you could benefit from. Hope that helps and most importantly enjoy London.
