| Hey there! I'm looking to apply for the working holiday visa (youth mobility scheme thing).. how long do i have to enter the country after i apply? |

| Hi there, The entry clearance will be issued for two years. If your applicant is successful, you will be free to do whatever work you like during your stay in the United Kingdom except for self-employment, working as a professional sportsperson or working as a doctor in training. | Hi youngc72 When you apply for your youth mobility visa you can select from what date you want it to be valid. You have 3 months to enter the UK from this date before it expires. If you don't enter the UK during this 3 month window the visa will cancel and you can re-apply. The 2 year validity starts from the date of approval, not from your entry date into the UK.
