Best place to live in England

Heya

Im looking to live and work in England, hopefully next year for a couple of years. Wondering where would be the best place to live with good nightlife?

Any suggestions?

hi there,

South of England has some of the best places to live in the UK such as the city of Bournemouth. Bournemouth has lovely beaches, plenty to do and see, lots of history, great nightlife and lots of countryside too.

If you are looking to just party alot then stick to the big cities -London, Manchester etc.

It really depends on what lifestyle you want. If you belong to the "city" then London, think no further. Specially there are a lot of job opportunities. However if you are looking for something smaller I love Somerset. Very calm though but the landscapes are just great.

The best place to live in England with good nightlife is Newcastle upon Tyne of course.

I would have to agree the South East is probably the best. Near to London...Brighton, Bournmouth etc

Devon named as the best place to live in England. Devon came top in five categories as the best for green credentials, local food, pubs, heritage and landscape. But if you are looking for a lively nightlife, Newquay is the best place for you. Newquay is well known for its lively nightlife.

There is a wide selection from chill out bars and traditional pubs, to beach side cafes and nightclubs. Many venues offer live music featuring local and international acts.
