Advice for UK wedding

We are looking for any advice in planning our wedding in the UK. I'm open to all suggestions, anyplace in the UK, but I would be a little more partial to the area around Manchester.

I'm looking for any info concerning weddings, hotels that have banquet hall type places in them, basically any stories good and bad concerning someone's wedding in the UK.

A couple of venues in the Manchester area I can suggest are:

- The Place Hotel which is located in Greater Manchester in the UK. The Place Hotel offers your own Event Co-ordinator to help organise and run your event, private kitchen facilities which can be hired, to a complete package that includes room hire, catering and drinks.

- The Novotel Manchester West is situated within acres of woodland in the village of Worsley and it is an ideal venue for your wedding and they also offer your own Event co-ordinator.
