| hey there, I am a student, flying to London from Germany, for a 2-3 weeks Christmas new year holiday, I am indeed planning a low budget trip in England (could be London and nearby cities, or further away from London), and if my budget allows, I will definitely travel to Wales and Scotland. I've found a cheap backpacker hostel in London, but am still working on accommodation out of London (if I happen to travel to somewhere else). Seeking advice on available transport pass, cheap accommodation, etc. Thanks in advanced. |

| Hi there, Since you're a student, I would suggest obtaining an International Student Identity Card as this card will give you savings on some travel and London Hostels, and cheaper or free entry to museums, art galleries and other places of entertainment in England. It will also give a discount off membership of the Youth Hostel Association. You can obtain a card from your local student travel office or student union. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy

| Sure, no problems, we can help with that. Some of the must see attractions when you're in London include: - Riding the London Eye at night for stunning views - Visiting the Tower of London: Home to the Crown Jewels - Visiting Buckingham Palace & the changing of the guard. Also, you could consider a few London day trips such as: - Day trip to Windsor Castle - Day trip to the mysterious Stonehenge - Day trip to the Roman spas of genteel Bath. - Day trip to the famous universities at Oxford and Cambridge. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy

| Hi evilgene, Advise number ONE: Create an account in hostelworld. com (you'll find the best deals there) and become a member of couchsurfing. com. I've used couch surfing to travel all around europe and never paid a penny for hotels, plus you get to stay in locals' houses. Brilliant experience |
