| We were recently in England and need to know if We can get a refund on the VAT taxes we paid on purchases since we are US citizens. Please advise what we need to do to get a refund (if that is possible). We are now back home in the Chicago area. Thank you! |

| It might not be possible if you didn't get the paperwork while in the UK. For each purchase you're supposed to get proper documentation which sites the amount due to be refunded to you, and then it needs to be inspected by customs when you leave to ensure that the products you purchased are in fact leaving the country.
