Are you proud of you hometown?

I am sitting here surfing and day dreaming, when I really should be working when I had a thought. Are you proud of your hometown and would you recommend it for a holiday or even a flying visit?

I am originally from Coventry and whilst I dont live there anymore I am somewhat protective of the place even though most people I know say the place has no redeeming features, its just another ordinary city.

What do you all think about your hometowns (or dare I say it Coventry).

I heard that Pope Benedict may be visiting Coventry. Where abouts were you born in Coventry? Do you miss it there?

I was born and raised in Foleshill. Everytime I go home (i still call it that) I get a bit nostalgic and most of my family are there too so I do miss it. I live in Mallorca now and its a great place to bring the children up but I think maybe one day I may return to my roots. It would be amazing if the pope came to Coventry too!
