Hi. I’ve recently inherited a cottage in Cornwall and would like to know if there are any good websites which I can advertise my property? I’ve looked at holidaylets and holidayrentals but I’ve heard some bad reviews from them? Any help much appreciated. r.

Hmm. Maybe look into this website: UK Holiday Cottages in Mevagissey Cornwall Cottage or there's always good old Craig'slist. Devon & Cornwall Craigslist

I have holidayed in Cornwall for years and years, and always in rented cottages. So apart form being interested in renting your place (you LUCKY thing!) i can tell you there are very very many agencies! Harbour Holidays operate from Padstow. But i have mostly used the local Tourist offices, and contacted the owners myself. I will say that this year we have been priced out of Cornwall and are venturing to California, where a faily hoiday at easter is working out much cheaper. (and its NOT Ryan Air!). I am sad about this. But I wonder if property owners in Cornwall realise that their prices are now finally squeezzing out 'nice little families' for more affluent singleswho can spolit the cost, or just the big earners. As is Rock......
