plan to visit Utah in Spring?

I am planning a Utah vacation when the rates will be hopefully cheaper, is April time cheaper than June? also, where in Utah will be best for kids? thanks

Utah is great all year long, though I would avoid summer, the Christmas holidays, President’s Day weekends and Spring Break periods if you want to avoid the crowds and find a reasonable rates on a Utah hotel.

Having said this, if you are planning to visit any of the desert tourist attractions in Utah like Salt Lake, temperatures are at their coolest during the spring.

Since you're traveling with children, I'd suggest Salt Lake City or Kanab where you can visit the famous Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Angel Canyon, or visit the Greyhound Gathering in May.
