| Hi there, The Green River in Utah is considered to be one of the best flat water stretches for kayaking. Even if you are a beginner, you can find suitable sections for rafting on the Green River. The reason I suggest the Green River is because is surrounded by acres of pristine deserts which offer a great range of outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding, etc. The Green River course begins at Flaming Gorge and then meanders through Dinosaur National Monument. Eventually, it follows the labyrinth of desert wilderness in east-central Utah, and passes the town of Green River before it unites with the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
