Thumbs up Utah rock climbing

hiya,

does anyone know of good rock climbing stores in Utah? we're planning to be there and we're thinking to go to St.George or Salt Lake City.

Also, what's Arches national Park like for rock climbing?

thanks

Default Re: Utah rock climbing

hi there,

In Salt Lake City, International Mountain Equipment Inc. is one of the most well known Utah climbing stores and they have a reputation for carrying the best selection of rock climbing, ice climbing, expedition and backpacking equipment in the entire United States.

If you are on a budget, International Equipment Inc. now has a consignment shop, so you can purchase used climbing gear at a relatively low price.

In St. George, the Outdoor Outlet is another one of the popular Utah climbing stores.

Arches national Park is a popular place for thrill seekers as the sandstone is somewhat unsteady. One of the most popular climbing routes at the park is the Owl Rock.

Hope this helps
