| Hello, Is the small town of Portofino a good place to base a vacation? I'd like to visit at least the place just for the views but i am worried that the town might be too quite>? |

| Yes, Portofino Italy is a tiny little town but there is plenty of things to do like shopping, sight-seeing, water-sports and eating out in a fine restaurant like La Terrazza where you can taste fine regional cuisine. You can also enjoy a trip to Castello (castle) Brown which offers picturesque views of the harbour and the town. There is also Portofino Natural Park, nearby where you can enjoy a pleasant hike taking in the natural scenery like lush chestnut and olive groves. |
