vermont vacation

hello,

we're planning a vacation to Vermont in two weeks time and i wonder what your take is and if is a good time to visit. can you also recommend any hotels, etc;

Hi there,

Late May and summer are great times to enjoy Vermont. Most museums, parks, and top attractions are only fully open between late May and October anyway.

If you want to get up to some outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and mountain biking then, I would suggest the summer months although be aware summer days get uncomfortably humid and hot.

Spring time can be cold and rainy but it is an ideal time for rafting as Vermont’s rivers swell with waters from newly melted snow.

One Vermont Inn, I would suggest is the Inn at Long Trail which is a small lodge situated on the famous hiking route near Killington.
