|  tour along Mekong River has anyone done a tour along the Mekong River before and where would advice doing a tour? Does a tour along the Mekong River include some sort of cruise as well? Also, are you allowed to bring bikes on board with you? |

|  Re: tour along Mekong River hello, Many of the traditional sampans offer tours along Mekong River, so there is plenty of opportunities to enjoy one. I think that the city of Can Tho is one of the best places to enjoy a tour along Mekong River because of the floating markets, bird gardens, and extensive network of canals. This city is also great because of the varied and affordable hotel accommodation available. Also, most tours allow you to bring on-board bikes as part of the tour, although some may charge a fee for this so check with them first. |

| Re: tour along Mekong River hiya, it takes 5 hours to reach Can Tho from Saigon, and 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh City, although you have to take a ferry for passing Hau river but it doesn't take long. |
