|  casinos and gambling in vietnam hey folks, im reading that gambling is legal in Vietnam but other sources say that it isn't if it's online, blah blah..can someone who's been to Vietnam clear this up? |

|  Re: casinos and gambling in vietnam There are basically semi-legal and illegal betting shops and even **** fighting venues all over Vietnam but I suggest you stay away from them because foreigners are technically not allowed to to them, even though locals might be overlooked by the authorities. the good news is that there are two legal casinos in the country that I am aware of. They are the Royal International Gaming Club in Ha Long City, and Do Son Casino in Hai Phong, which is the largest of Vietnam's casinos with seven gaming tables and 100 slot and video poker machines. |

| Re: casinos and gambling in vietnam all forms of gambling have been illegal in Vietnam except for the state-operated lottery, though the Vietnamese government has allowed some upper-scale hotels to establish electronic centres to offer gambling to foreign passport holders. |
