|  things to do in Newport News hello guys, we'd like to explore Virginia this fall and we're considering a few cities where we can enjoy historical sites and cultural attractions...what things to do in Newport News can you suggest for history buffs like us?:) |

|  Re: things to do in Newport News hello, If its maritime history you're interested in, you're going to love visiting the Mariner's Museum to learn about battle ship wars and seeing nice ship exhibits. The Virginia War Museum houses the largest collection of war relics in the states and it is the place to learn about American military history and see weaponry, vehicles and uniforms from the time. Another museum not to be missed in Newport News is the Virginia Living Museum to explore native wildlife. This museum also offers interesting live guided tours of the Virginia night sky to learn about constellations, planets, galaxies, and stars. |
