|  DC on the 4th My Wife, 9 year old son and I are interested in visiting DC from Saturday, July 3rd to the 6th. We will be driving there from Buffalo and are concerned about the crowds and driving into the city around that time. We could also arrive on the 5th and miss out on the 4th. Any hints or suggestions would be helpfull. |

|  Re: DC on the 4th hi there, Coming on the 4th will be very busy but it's worth it. I would suggest taking the Metro to get around. Also, bring extra sun screen and water as it is very hot this time of year in Washington DC. |
