|  2007 National Capital Barbecue Battle The 2007 National Capital Barbecue Battle is about to happen in Washington DC! For 15 years now, Washington DC has hosted the Barbecue fest. Cooks battle to win over $25,000 cash! Not to mention the chance to compete in the bigger competition in Memphis. Over 10,000 people attend the event and many raise money for great beneficiaries When: June 23-24 2007 Barbeque Battle Time: Saturday: 11 am - 9 pm Sunday: 11 am - 7:30 pm Location: Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th and 14th Sts. Cost: Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12 and free for kids 5 or younger. Enjoy the cooking demonstrations, great food and the community included. |
