Washington DC Washington DC is the heartbeat of the entire United States nation. Attractions here aren't hard to come by, it's getting it all into one trip that's the problem. Stop by the National Mall and see the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives. Sit at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Walk along the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Enjoy all the US Capitol has to offer.

Hi, during next month I will be going to Washington City for official purposes. I will stay there for about 15 days. So I am thinking of visiting the city. Can you people guide me in planning the trip? Tell me name of places I should nto visit. I will have around 3 days with me for the trip.

As far as planning a trip goes, there are many things to do in Washington DC. Personally, I didn't go on a guided tour but that's just me, I like to explore and take my time. I highly recommend going to the National Mall. We've got a few different Suggested Itineraries for Washington DC that you may want to check out. There are also a variety of Washignton DC Day Trips that you may find helpful. Hope that helps! Enjoy Washington DC!
