Washington DC Washington DC is the heartbeat of the entire United States nation. Attractions here aren't hard to come by, it's getting it all into one trip that's the problem. Stop by the National Mall and see the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives. Sit at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Walk along the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Enjoy all the US Capitol has to offer.

I haven't traveled since i was younger, but had a question that i needed an answer for, but cannot find. The new space saver bags, are they allowed for air travel? or are they resticted due to certain circumstances?

Are you talking about those Ziploc bags? In any case, what were you planning on storing in it? If it's just your clothes, then I think it's fine in your carry-on luggage (assuming you can fit it in). However, if you're brining liquids, you're still required to place them in a "quart-size" bag and each container of liquid is only allowed to be up to 3 ounces. Read here for more information on Airline Regulations.

they are like ziplock bags but you can store clothes in them and vacume the air out so that it saves space. I was wondering if i can use them to pack my clothes in for my regular luggage not my carry on. Is that possible?

They are see through, but it sucks out all the air by vaccume and compacts it, but you can see everything and will be abe to notice if anything "suspicious" is in there. Thank you for all your help.

No problem! Just so you know...if they do open it, I wouldn't count on it being all nice and neat when you get it back. I've had some instances where it looked like my luggage had been through a horrible experience. Happy travels!
