|  things to do in the San Juan Islands I'd like to take my family this summer on a two week vacation to Washington State for an outdoors vacation and I'm considering San Juan Islands. Are the islands a great vacation spot for families, and what things and activities do the islands offer? |

| Re: things to do in the San Juan Islands San Juan islands is lovely place to enjoy a vacation with the family. I took my 5 and 8 year-old to the main island of San Juan and had a blast there. There are lots of hiking and biking trails and plenty of water-based activities such as boating, whale watching, fishing and kayaking. Another thing to keep in mind when planning your trip to the San Juan Islands is that you can book San Juan island tours like cycling, excursion tours and plane tours to fly over the island chain.
