| hello, we're visiting Seattle for two weeks in June, and we are wondering about whale watching opportunities in Washington. Do we have to go far fro Seattle to do whale watching, and how much does one of these tours cost? |

| The San Juan Islands are one of the best whale watching spots along the shores of Washington State. You will be able to sight orcas, migrating birds and harbor seal pups, there is an abundance of wildlife aside from the whale watching that you can enjoy around the islands. You can take the Victoria Clipper from pier 69 in Seattle to get to the San Juan Islands. The Washington State Ferry also has routes to the islands from the Seattle Cruise Terminal. There are lots of different options for transportation to get across the waterways of Washington State. |
