doing the space needle in seattle

we're visiting Seattle for the first time and im wondering whether the space needle will be worth our time? how does it compare to towers such as Eiffel Tower, Empire State building, etc?

The Space Needle is simply a must-see if you're new to Seattle. The Space Needle is as great as an observation tower as Eiffel Tower, if not better!

Best to do it on a bright sunny day, otherwise you won't get a good experience. It costs around $20 to get to the top for an unlimited amount of time, which may be pricey for some people, but you do get great views, especially across the Puget Sound, which I was able to see in all it's glory!

You do get to see the glory of the Pacific Northwest at the top of the space needle...so that's one perk you don't get from the other big buildings. The Eiffel Tower has some nice views, but there are a lot of buildings in the way. You get to see more nature here.

sorry to break the party folks but I think there are far better places to get a stellar view of Seattle that don't charge you $20 just for an elevator ride. I guess you could go once just so you could tell everybody back home that you were there, but don't go there expecting too much that's all;)

wait until you see what the weather is. I believe it costs $20 now, so going up to see clouds probably isn't the best use of your money. Hope this helps!
