|  Washington State Fall Colors the top cities for seeing fall colors are Yakima, Winthrop, and Leavenworth. There are state fairs and wine festivals, all scheduled around fall foliage. In Leavenworth they also celebrate Oktoberfest which is a great festival. |

 | Re: Washington State Fall Colors Did you go to the Nutcracker Museum in Leavenworth? I hear it's pretty dorky but cute. This is a great time to go to Washington for the leaves. The Washington state fall foliage typically peaks in mid-October.

|  nutcracker museum in Leavenworth I've been to the nutcracker museum in Leavenworth and I can see what you mean by dorky...I find it a bit creepy too, but overall it was great since admission was like $2. What did you think of the video wanderer and the wooden creations? I was really impressed with the craftsmanship of some of these nutcrackers...I personally think that the nutcrackers you see at Macy's can't compare the slightest! Quote:
