Washington State Washington State is one of the most ecologically diverse states. Travel to the rugged Pacific Coast line or climb Mount St. Helens. Visit Pike Place Market and see the infamous flying fish in the market. Enjoy dinner at the Space Needle as you rotate with a view the city. For skiing in Washington, choose from many mountains like Crystal Mountain, Mt Baker, and Stevens Pass.

New to town....going to be in Renton Washington for 13 weeks on a travel nurse assignment. I want to go into Seattle tomorrow (Saturday), but I'm unsure about traffic, where to park, and sites I should definitely see while I'm there for the day. Also, if I wanted to make this an overnite trip, where is a decent place to stay? I'm 38 years old and by myself. Love music, dancing, good food, good wine, etc. Thanks for any tips!

Sorry I missed your first Saturday in Seattle but no worries you'll have plenty of time to catch up. Traffic get used to it its Seattle, it less than LA more than South Dakota! I'd recommend you start by visiting our list of things to do in Seattle that will get you started. One of my favorite hotels is Hotel Monaco or also check out the Edgewater Hotel both are nice upper hotels. I would highly recommend getting to know the Seattle neighborhoods as you'll find a different crowd and typically a different style of music in each one. What kind of music are you into and what sort of people do you like to hang out with? | |

If you're into seeing seattle attractions the most affordable way to do it is get a Seattle Attractions Pass and spend a few days doing all the main tourist draws. I always recommend this to visitors in Seattle. Have a good time! Seattle is a great city.

Hey. Music...I like lots of different kinds, and it depends on my mood. I love the 70s and 80s; I like DISCO, Jazz, etc. I like old rock. I don't like rap or hard rock. Love to dance, but nothing coordinated like swing or ballroom...would love to take lessons for those. :)
