Default Camping along the Columbia River

Hi there!

My friends and I were thinking of going on a camping trip this Spring Break.

We were interested in finding somewhere on the Columbia River to make camp, but I'm not very familiar with the area.

Does anybody know a place that we can throw our gear down and camp without having to pay a fee?

I'm not really looking for a structured camping ground, but more of a quiet place that's not crowded. Thanks for the help! :)

Hi there,

If you are looking for secluded, peaceful and free camping site, Stehekin Valley Campground is the one. It is not quite by the river by it is by Lake Chelan, so you could still enjoy water activities.

Hope this helps
