|  canaan valley Hi, we are driving to west Virginia and plan to rough it out for a couple weeks. whats canaan valley like? can we get suggestions of campsites please? Thanks Paul |

| Re: canaan valley Hi Paul, Canaan Valley provides a wealth of rare and fascinating wildlife and plants and it is an ideal spot for bird-watching, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, etc. The Canaan Valley State Park provides almost forty camp sites with access to excellent bathing facilities, drinking water, etc. The Canaan Valley Resort is an excellent choice and one of the most popular resorts for camping. Prices range from $19 to $25 per night, depending the time you are staying. Another popular campsite is Sleepy Creek which is set in a slender valley between the Sleepy Creek and Third Hill Mountains and joined by the Lock-of-Mountain ridge. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
